5 Day Murchison Falls National Park Safari
These 5 day Murchison Falls National Park Safari trip will be one of Uganda’s shortest yet the most enchanting safaris to take on. You will visit the famous Mabamba Swamp for the rare Shoebill Stork and then after you will proceed to the world’s most powerful waterfall, the Murchison Falls.
It will start from Entebbe and End in Entebbe International Airport Uganda.

ACCOMMODATION
The bookings with the hotels mentioned in the program depend on availability. Reservations will only be made after booking your safari.
In case the mentioned hotels are not available during the requested period, we will do our best to book a hotel in the same class for you- of course after consulting you.
GORILLA AND CHIMP PERMITS
It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits. Therefore, we can only buy them after your bookings/down-payment and it all depends on availability.
TRANSPORT
We bring quality to your fore sight, with great customized safari vehicles (4×4) for easy wildlife viewing. All clients will have a dedicated window seat. Your professional driver/guide will be at your disposal for questions or translations.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your lodge for overnight
Our EBS Tours representative will be waiting for you at the airport for a transfer to your designated place of stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Mabamba Swamp for the rare Shoebill Stork
Today after breakfast, you will be picked from your lodge and transfer to Mabamba Swamp along the shores of the Lake Victoria on the search for the rare Shoebill Stork. For bird watchers, Mabamba swamp is known for the shoebill but there are actually other bird species here for you to encounter. You will have en route lunch at Nkima Forest Lodge and after you proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchson Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Today after having breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer north-west of Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the southern white-rhinos on foot. This is the only place in Uganda where you can be able to see rhinos in the wild, it is about 5-6 hours of driving from Entebbe to Murchison Falls and just 3 hours from Entebbe to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. You will be given an armed ranger guide who will ensure your safety when searching for these endangered animals.
It takes about 2 hours, and after you will proceed to Murchison Falls with en-route lunch at Kabalega dinners. Dinner and Overnight

Day 4: Early morning safari and afternoon boat trip on River Nile
Early in the morning with our packed breakfast, we will drive to the game-drive section of the Murchison Falls National Park to search for the early risers before they return to their hideouts. This park is Uganda’s largest and ofcourse the only one where you see all Africa’s big five animals like Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos and Rhinos just if you combine it with Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
The game-drive takes about 3 hoursand after you will return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxation while preparing for your afternoon boat trip on the Nile. The boat cruise takes you to the bottom of the Murchison Falls and a long the way you will encounter some of Africa’s most iconic big game animals like, Elephants quenching their thirsty, Buffalos, Crocodiles and alot of water birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe for departure
On this day not so early, (7:00 am) you will transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Entebbe. You will have en-route lunch and then head straight to the airport for departure and that will mark the end of your safari to the Pearl of Africa!
