Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – The Beginning of Your Adventure

Your adventure begins in Kigali, the vibrant capital of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm Rwandan welcome and transferred to your comfortable accommodation. Day 2: Into the Mystical Volcanoes National Park

Day two takes you to the mystical Volcanoes National Park, where the magic of the mountain gorillas awaits. A scenic drive through lush countryside will bring you to the foothills of the Virunga Mountains, and you’ll settle into your lodge in the park. Day 3: Encounter the Mountain Gorillas

Gorilla Trekking Permits

It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla permits. Therefore, we can only buy them after your bookings/down-payment and it all depends on availability.

Transport for the safari

We bring quality to your fore sight, with great customized safari vehicles (4×4) for easy wildlife viewing. All clients will have a dedicated window seat. Your professional driver/guide will be at your disposal for questions or translations.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our company driver/guide who will welcome you into Rwanda and then transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Check-in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Very early in the morning after having your breakfast at the lodge, your guide will take you to the park headquaters for a gorilla trekking briefieng etiquette. Emabrk on a thrilling gorilla trek through the lush rainforest, led by experienced ranger guides. Spend an unforgettable hour of observing and photographing the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

You will then return to your lodge for lunch , and in the evening your guide will take you to a city walk around Musanze area.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking and ibyiwachu cultural center

In the morning at 8am after breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a simple briefing about the trek and then start on the move through the forest in search of the stunning golden monkeys. Watch the gold meeting the silver in one home, running up in the high forest canopies as they swing from one tree branch to another. The experience is extremely exceptional.

Later on after lunch, visit the famous Ib’yiwachu cultural village that gathers together all the three ethnic groups of Rwanda in only one stop point. Engage in the traditional dances performed here. A taste of the local cuisine is a guarantee except to those that don’t want. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure but not goodbye

Early morning after breakfast, embark on the safari vehicle and then head back to Kigali to either fly back home or relaxation at the lodge of your choice.
