6 Days Chimpanzee Tracking Safari

These 5 days chimpanzee tracking safari, will be one of your unforgettable encounter you could imagine in Africa. You will track our closest relatives the Chimpanzees in Africa’s Primate Capital and that is Kibale National Park.

This tropical rain forest is home to different species of primates but the chimps are the main highlight for almost all tourists visiting this destination. It is also home to about 354 bird species and one of the most sought after bird is the rare Green Breasted Pitta and so many others.

You will also visit the community after your primate trek from the forest and you will get to know how the locals live their day to day lives.

You will then depart from Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is also located south of Uganda for a wildlife viewing safari, this will then mark the end of our spectacular 6 days and 5 nights chimpanzee tracking safari into the Pearl of Africa.

Day 1: Airport pick up

On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative from EBS TOURS who will then transfer you to your hotel for the overnight. Overnight at 2Friends beach hotel (Sem-luxury), Boma Guest House (Mid range) Or Airport Guest House (Budget)

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys you continue the scenic drive to the lodge, which is set on a crater lake against a backdrop of high peaks. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking- Bigodi nature walk

After breakfast the today, head into Kibale National head park offices for chimpanzee tracking briefing. This tropical rain forest harbors 13 different primate species, including chimpanzees, black-and white Columbus, red tailed and blue monkeys, and the rare l’Hoest’s monkey. After a morning of chimpanzee tracking, you will have lunch and in the after you will take a short walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, on the lookout for primates, butterflies, and some 200 species of birds. Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 5: Game drive-Afternoon Boat trip on Kazinga channel

After an early breakfast, you will go for a guided early game drive in Kisenyi plains where you hopefully will see lions and other large mammals. After the morning safari, you will have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat tour on the Kazinga Channel where you will see hippo, crocodile, buffalo, elephant and a variety of other large animals that come to the river to drink. You will most likely also see an incredible variety of birds. After the boat trip, you drive back to your lodge. Day 6: Transfer to Entebbe

Today return to Entebbe Airport for your return flight home.
