DAY 1: Arrival and Transfer to your lodge for overnight.
DAY 2: Transfer to Jinja for Rafting

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe.

ACCOMMODATION

The bookings with the hotels mentioned in the program depend on availability. Reservations will only be made after booking your safari.

In case the mentioned hotels are not available during the requested period, we will do our best to book a hotel in the same class for you- of course after consulting you.

GORILLA AND CHIMP PERMITS

It is not possible to ‘reserve’ gorilla and chimpanzee permits. Therefore, we can only buy them after your bookings/down-payment and it all depends on availability.

TRANSPORT

We bring quality to your fore sight, with great customized safari vehicles (4×4) for easy wildlife viewing. All clients will have a dedicated window seat. Your professional driver/guide will be at your disposal for questions or translations.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your lodge for accommodation

Our EBS Tours representative will be waiting for you at the airport for a transfer to your designated place of stay.
Dinner & Overnight at: Via Via Guesthouse

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja for rafting on the Nile

On this day after breakfast, you will be picked by your guide and then transfer to the adventure capital of East Africa, (JINJA) famous for the historic source of the River Nile. Jinja is one of the world’s most spectacular white water rafting destination and for many visitors on a Uganda Safari mark it as their highlight of the trip. So you will here enjoy your full day white water rafting experience and in the evening return to Entebbe for overnight.

ACCOMMODATION: K HOTELS/ GORILLA AFRICAN GUEST HOUSE

Meal Plan: Full board

Very early in the morning (6:30am) after breakfast, you will start the journey to the home of mountain gorillas with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, it takes about 10-12 hrs drive, so you will enjoy a long scenic drive before reaching the gorilla wild lands in the evening. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and about 335 bird species, with different other mammal species.

Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

ACCOMMODATION: GORILLA CLOSEUP LODGE/ BROADBILL FOREST CAMP

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Community tour

On this day after taking your heavy breakfast (6:30am) your driver will take you to the park head quarters for briefing before you start the hike to search for the endangered mountain gorillas in the thick forest of Bwindi.

After briefing, you will then enter the forest with an armed ranger guide to search for the beautiful yet gentle giants, it takes about 2-8 hrs and you are advised to wear long sleeved clothes because of the vegetation of the forest and if possible carry a rainy jacket because yes, we are entering a rainy forest.

After meeting them gorillas, you are given an hour of interacting with them, so you are advised to use that moment with all what you have, I mean take as many pictures as you want because after an hour you won’t be able to take them again! After gorilla trekking, you will then transfer to Africa’s Second deepest lake, I mean the lake with to many small birds! (Lake Bunyonyi) which is the only lake in Africa with bilharzia free. It takes about 2 hrs drive, so you will reach in the evening and you will enjoy a sunset boat cruise and if you want swimming is okay here.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe for departure

On this day not so early, (7:00 am) you will transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe via Mbarara, you will have a stop at ELITE BACK PACKERS in Masaka for lunch en-route and then proceed with your journey to Entebbe with another stop at the Equator for some pictures, and then head straight to the airport for departure and that will mark the end of your safari to the Pearl of Africa!
