Day 1: Airport pick up
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of EBS TOURS & SAFARIS and transferred to your hotel for overnight

Day 2: Transfer to Gulu Town
After breakfast, you will be met by your guide for briefing and thereafter drive to Gulu town for overnight. All our tours to Kidepo Valley National park stop in Gulu to break down the long journey

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley NP
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kidepo Valley NP located in north Eastern Uganda. You will check into your lodge, relax and prepare for an evening game drive. Kidepo Valley National park was voted the best national park in Africa and cheetahs call it home. The park boasts of several prides of lions that can be easily spotted compared to other national parks, elephants, giraffes, buffalos and so much more in large numbers.

Day 4: Whole day game drives
Today after breakfast, you will go for a whole day game drive in the savannah plains of Kidepo Valley National park. The park hosts a great variety of animal species in comparison to any other Ugandan national park. Carnivore species include bat eared fox, cheetahs, stripped hyena, etc. The uncommon animals are greater and lesser Kudu, Klipspringer and the reed buck. And there are great numbers of elephants, oribi, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, cape buffalos, side striped jackals as well as spotted hyenas

Day 5: Village and cultural visits
After breakfast, you will visit the homes of the Karamajong, interact with the elders and get to know more about the lifestyle, culture, and behaviours of this special pastoral group. You will then drive to Kitgmu for overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP
After breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison Falls NP which is the biggest conservation area in Uganda, offering a riverine, forests and savannah environments.

Day 7: Game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of falls
After an early breakfast, you will go for a game drive on the Northern Bank of River Nile. The activity takes about 3-5 hours and Wildlife in the Park includes elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks. After the drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a launch cruise on the Albert Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Delta boat and evening game drive
After an early breakfast, you will go for a boat cruise to the delta where there is a lot of activity. Look out for animas crossing the river. There is also a rare chance of spotting the shoebill stork. In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a game drive

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Albert
After a heavy breakfast, you will set out for Lake Albert. You will arrive in time for lunch after which you will have a short tour around the fishing villages, local communities and local fishermen. Alternatively, you can take a short boat cruise on the lake. Dinner and overnight

Day 10: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale forest National Park in Fort portal. En route, you will bypass big tea plantations. You will have lunch in Fort portal town after which you will proceed to the park. Relax (Camp fire) and later have dinner and overnight

Day 11: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, you will set out for chimp tracking with in the Kibale Forest. During your search, expect to see a lot of primate species like chimpanzees, monkeys and other animals like the forest elephants, reptiles and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area and look out for most of the water loving bird species. The Park has almost 335 species of birds and there fore a good place for birders. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3-4 hours)
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching the park Headquarters at Mweya. Prepare and go for a game drive in the Northern crater area where there is a lot of dark holes called the black craters with no water. You may be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes, Leopards, monkeys such as the, vervet monkeys, patas monkeys. Other animals that can be seen are the bush pigs and the warthogs, antelopes such as the topi, water and the bush bucks. Return late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay

Day 13: Game drive and Launch cruise
Early in the morning go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi area which is well known as the Kob mating grounds and there fore in this place one is able to see a lot of kobs and other antelopes like the sitatunga, and the hyenas. Other animals can also be spotted such as the Elephants, lions, and many more. This takes 2-3 hour. Return to the camp for lunch and in the afternoon go for a Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. You may be able to see a lot of crocodiles along the channels bank sides, a lot of the hippopotamus since in Africa this place is regarded as the highest concentration of the hippos, elephants taking water and a lot of bird species at the pelican point. Return for dinner and over night stay late in the evening.

Day 14: Transfer to Ishasha sector
Today after breakfast, you will transfer on to Ishasha, home to the world famous tree climbing lions. The best time to see them is in early hours of the morning. Before stopping for lunch, have a game drive. Before dinner, you go for another game drive.”

Day 15: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park (4-6 hours)
This morning you will set out for the game drive in Ishasha area and expect to see the rare tree climbing lions. The lions can be seen up on the fig trees. However, it’s not a guarantee that the lions will be seen. Some times it depends on the luck and time of reaching the area. You will have lunch in the Ishasha sector and after you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in preparation for your next day Gorilla trek. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 16: Gorilla trek in Bwindi forest Park
Early in the morning after breakfast and a briefing from the UWA officials, set off for the gorilla tracking. This is a once life time experience and unforgettable adventure. The ranger guides will lead you into the thick forest and start your search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about1hour. The activity can take 6-7 hours since the gorillas move up and down. This is an awe some and exciting moment. Enroute there are a lot of chimpanzees and other types of the primates such as the monkeys, birds and so more. Return for dinner and over night

Day 17: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi. It is the 2nd deepest lake in Africa. Bunyonyi locally means small birds due to the abundance of small birds in this area. This is the perfect place to relax after gorilla tracking the previous day.

Day 18: Optional activities
Today after breakfast, you may decide to relax or go for optional canoe ride on the lake to explore different islands especially the punishment island where girls who became pregnant before marriage where dumped to die or be picked by men who couldn’t afford bride price. Alternately, you can hike one of the hills around Lake Bunyonyi. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 19: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP
After breakfast, you will be transferred to lake Mburo NP via Great lakes museum or Igongo cultural centre to learn more about the cultures of the ethinic groups in Western Uganda. You will have lunch, and later go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo is popular for animals such as impalas, Giraffes, Zebras and elands. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 20: Transfer to Entebbe airport
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe with en route lunch at stopover at the equator for a photo session
