Day 1: Depart Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park.
Having had breakfast Start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park drive via Bombo road that it should take you about five hours to be there. When you reach the park, drive directly to the Top of the falls, such a pretty site for appreciating the mighty River Nile and the most powerful gush of the water throw a narrow drop. Day 2: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Victoria Nile
Set off for an early game drive on the Northern Delta Nile. Lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will be able to spot. Head back for breakfast and then after you can go aboard a boat to take on a launch cruise on the Murchison falls in about two hours. You will view schools of hippos and crocodiles, small herds of Buffalo. There is great birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, plus various other birds. While at the bottom of the fall you will see how it magnificently powers down as you take pictures of the unforgettable magical views. Then back to the hotel for late lunch relaxation as you interact, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Breakfast well packed up to head to yet another exciting destination. We will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, home of the rare apes the mountain gorillas. Enjoy the scenic drive that it will turn out to be all the way to Bwindi, as you will spot the great Lake Albert, the Rwenzori ranges, Kibale forest, the beautiful Lakes George and Edward and the various local communities you will pass through on arrival stay overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas or Gorilla Resort, meal plan Full Board.
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Rise as early as possible to grab your trekking gears and breakfast not forgetting your packed lunch plus drinking water, head on for briefing that takes place at 8:00am, ready to trek the gorillas in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi you will be allocated a family to track and on finding them during the search You get to spend an hours’ time with the gorillas. Depending on how you feel after the trek and how much time is left you could engage in another activity it could be a nature walk to the Batwa community thereafter head back to the lodging to freshen up dinner and then a night’s rest.
Day 5: Return to Kampala
A delicious breakfast treat will be available for you to have when you awake pack your bags and head to the car to hit the journey back to Kampala. Thus the end of the safari.
